Chardelle Moore Shares Expertise at Johns Hopkins University Masterclass on Authentic Branding

 

Chardelle Moore recently served as a featured speaker at Johns Hopkins University during the communication masterclass titled “Leveraging PR to Build Authentic Brands & Mock Interviews.”

This event, organized by the Johns Hopkins Urban Health Institute’s Bunting Neighborhood Leadership Program, brought together industry experts to explore how public relations can shape brands that resonate authentically and make a lasting impact.

Chardelle, a recognized expert in media training, shared her insights alongside Cheyanne Marie Daniels, Race and Politics Reporter for The Hill and the creator/host of The Switch Up podcast. Together, they discussed the importance of staying true to one’s unique perspective as a catalyst for meaningful change. In her remarks, Chardelle emphasized storytelling as a powerful tool for brand building, highlighting “The Power of You” — a theme that encourages individuals to leverage their personal narratives to forge authentic connections.

The session was moderated by Kadmiel Van Der Puije, founder of Dervan Solutions and CEO of The Voice of Africa. Van Der Puije skillfully guided the conversation, inviting each panelist to share their perspectives on media relations and audience engagement. The panel also featured a mock interview segment, where attendees received real-time feedback from the experts, equipping them with actionable advice on presenting their authentic selves on camera.
