Chardelle Moore to Host and Perform at Art All Night 2024
Chardelle Moore will serve as both host and performer at Art All Night 2024, a premier event celebrating Washington, D.C.’s thriving arts scene. This event provides a platform for showcasing the city’s diverse talent, emphasizing the synergy between art and business within the city’s commercial corridors.
Launched in 2011 as Art All Night: Nuit Blanche DC by Shaw Main Streets, the event began with an attendance of over 30,000 people. Over the past 12 years, it has grown into one of the region’s most anticipated cultural events, featuring more than 20 neighborhoods and drawing over 180,000 attendees in 2023. Art All Night has become a cornerstone of D.C.’s cultural calendar, driving foot traffic to local businesses and fostering community engagement.
For the first time, this year’s Art All Night will include a Caribbean cultural celebration, offering attendees a chance to explore the richness of the Caribbean’s artistic traditions. Events DC will host the “Once on This Island” activation on the Carnegie Library East and West Lawns, adjacent to the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, on Saturday, September 28, 2024, starting at 7 PM. This free event will highlight the cultural heritage of the Caribbean through live performances, interactive art displays, and authentic cuisine. The celebration presents an opportunity for cultural education, networking, and community building, with giveaways and food available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Chardelle Moore’s performance will feature a multifaceted presentation, combining music, poetry, and motivational speaking to engage and inspire attendees. Her work underscores the event’s focus on creative expression and community empowerment.
Art All Night offers businesses, artists, and the public a unique occasion to intersect in a meaningful way, fostering connections that benefit both the arts community and the city’s broader economy.
